SAPRO's investing policy is to achieve primarily capital growth from an opportunistic portfolio of real estate assets across the commercial, industrial and residential sectors in South Africa.
SAPRO is now fully invested and it's current portfolio consists of projects which are spread across industrial, mixed use and residential developments. SAPRO believes that this provides it with the benefits of diversification across various real estate asset classes, and exposure to South Africa's continued macroeconomic growth.
The bulk of the investments have been made in Gauteng, South Africa's economic powerhouse, with some developments in KwaZulu Natal which has also been experiencing strong growth and where attractive development opportunities lie.
SAPRO floated on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) on 26 October 2006 (ticker: SAPO).
